I've been out of work for over a month now, awaiting surgery. However, I worked this past Friday because the office needed someone to come in to get the mail and do some light filing and mostly clerical stuff. My shoulder isn't hurting in an untolerable way while I am doing light activity so I felt absolutely sure that I could manage. As a matter of fact, the financial situation has gotten so tight that I offered to work Saturday as well, as it was just half a day and another assistant would be there, so we could definitly juggle the tasks if I had pain. |

I envision myself talking to my kids about the olden days when insurance companies were just companies who were contracted through employers to suppliment health care costs versus insurance companies dictating who lives and who dies by their STANDARD PROCEDURE POLICIES AND THE DOCTORS WHO DEPEND ON THEM TO MAKE A LIVING. |

Introduction 40 yr old Female Dental Assistant History of arthritis- none in right shoulder Slap Tear Superior Posterior, Atrophy Teres Minor, Inflammed Bursa And some other stuff I can't recall at the moment. Initial Onset of Symptoms November 2007 5 months of PT MRI done Month 5 Surgery Scheduled June 26 Have been home from work for over a month and getting restless. Found this site last month and have been lurking..... |
