Hi all, writing from the standpoint of a non-athlete, wish I could say this was as exciting an injury as the rock climer, snow boarder, weight lifter etc. but mine came about from lifting caskets and bodies in a 26 year career as a funeral director, and about eight months ago my right shoulder finally gave out, I gripped and moaned to my wife and kids for several months until lack of sleep forced a move. I went to my local sport medicine doc, same guy who injected my left shoulder 2 years ago after a bout with a frozen shoulder, bitch getting older, anyways we did the rehab route for about 2 days, (not) pain extreme., He recommended an MRI, guess what they own the machine, surgery center, rehab outfit, Hey it's a one stop shop. |
