wow again, thanks again everyone for the help. unfortuneatly my mom didn't have anything that was any use to me. she just had the hospital guideline papers. but yeah i've stopped taking the pain meds because i don't wanna get addicted to them. if i really need it later, i'll ask my doctor. but i am going to call my doctor on wednesday because he doesn't work on monday and tuesday.
after i get in touch with my doctor, i'll write down everything he told me on this site.

My daughter had a slap tear repair on feb. 11 and passed out on the shoulder the very next day. Does anyone know how we could determine if she messed the surgery up? It is making me anxious.

Hi JH. I am sorry to hear about your daughter's fall. From my experience, right now is probably no way to determine with any certainty if any damage has been done. They may do another MRA, but so early postop, it may not be either indicated, or will not show anything due to inflammation and surgical manipulation of the joint. You will probably have to wait and see. Have you talked to your orthopod about this? What did they say?

JH Like Aznick stated the poping in the shoulder should not be too common unless there is significant weakness and this should not be the case at 5 months. The shoulder subluxing is definitely not OK. What exactly did your daughter have done?? Did they tighten the joint or was any laxity noticed beore?
You need to get that repeat MRI/arthrogram, given that eary incident of passing out on the shoulder. Also if your OS or PT are not giving you consistent answers go to another. The whole purpose of the the surgery is to get back to the previous level of activity so try to ascertain whether the repair has held and or what is going on. Sharon
