Hey Cking949,
Hoping you answer this because I am really anxious to hear how things turned out. I had a similar experience to you with the cortisone shot today and possible recurrent labrum tear. How did it work out for you? Did you go for a second surgery?

Hey all -
this is my second surgery - I had done some research - and found that my firt ortho DR was/is an ass. He didnt believe me when i told him i couldnt tolerate cortisone shots - well a skin test was done and it shows i am allergic to it. I kept telling the dr after my first surgery - that my shoulder wasnt right. So i saw a new Dr - he did an MRI and coulndt see cuz of the first anchor blurring the images. Well Here i am after surgery on Jan 22. It was brutal - my shoulder was so unstable it popped out of socket during surgery. Dr had to jam it back in. When he got in there - he found that there was 6 tears. Yes i said 6. SO he stitched up most of them and put an anchor in the rotator cuff. Yeah a mess - so now they are telling me i wont be back to normal for up to a year - my first surgery i was playing ball 5 months after - but cuz of the damage to my cuff - i cant even raise my arm rt now. UGH - im just frustrated. It seems like i cant get ahead. Sorry all - i was just wrambling on.
