hiya guys/gals...I had a bankart repair done on Monday. Day of surgery was lame, puked a ton from Nerve block & mild sedation. I slept in my bed and woke up three times. Day one after surgery was most painful but manageable. I haven't taken any pain meds, just MSM, glucosamine, fish oil, and traumeel for inflammation. Last night I woke up once at 5:30am so not bad, topped up the cryocuff and went back to bed.

i was doing pendulums and heard a mild click, could that have been an anchor? How hard are they to pop?

Heya, quick update!

I'm two weeks and three days post op. Things are going really good, I still haven't had the need for any of the pain medication and the arm in general doesn't really ever hurt. I started physio a week after surgery and he just moves it around and stretches it. It feels great to having it move. I'm still just spelling the alphabet, figure 8's, and pendulums.

For all those reading the horror stories on here, it's not everybody's experience! It is possible to have a good recovery.
