30 to 40 min of PT session, I agree with another poster I don't think I would need much more.
I had a slap tear repair along with frozen shoulder. Started PT after 4 weeks post surgery. My PT has me doing most of the exercise that I do at home to make sure I'm doing them correctly as well as to monitor my progress, so it is a one-to one session. He also has me use a upper body machine that just rotates the shoulders, but no weight resistance yet. He also does some assisted movement of the shoulder.

It was about 2 hours at the beginning of therapy, by the end I had cut down to 1 1/2 hours. That includes the last 15 minutes which were always stimulation and ice.

(I'm 2 months post-op) 1 1/2 hours total time....
First thing they do is electrical stem w/ heat 10 mins
Second is various exercises w/ 5lb weight and stick
Third is down stairs to gym for 6 30lb machines
Fourth item of day is ultrasound for 10 mins
Fifth is the dreaded therapist manipulation/rotation 5 mins
Sixth and final step is 10 mins of that awesome huge ice pack!
I think it's a 3 month PT progressive setup
I had a SLAP tear fix with 3 anchors
