36 hours away (10/27 @ 7:00am). I'm ready to get this over with. This site has been a huge help in preparing. I am feeling really good about everything in front of me. I know what to expect each day including the day of surgery. My biggest fear is the "being put under" part. I am told this is really low risk because it isn't deep sleep. Little happy juice, a nerve block, more happy juice for lights out and occasional gas to keep sleeping. Not deep sleep with a breathing tube etc. No big headaches and naseau.

I am looking for to writing my first submission after the surgery. I will get in here as soon as I can to let you know how I made out. Thanks again Andy for giving us a place to share experiences. I am umpiring a game tomorrow evening. The game will end just 10 hours before my surgery. Hey...go big or don't go at all!
