This is the first time I've written. I'm looking for anyone who has had to delay their slap tear surgery because of a frozen shoulder. I was supposed to have surgery in 2 days, but at my apt. today, it was discovered that I have a frozen shoulder. That sure does change things! I've lined up car pools for my kids, subs for my Pilates classes, and now instead of trying to avoid doing those things that hurt so much, I'm supposed to be doing them! The Dr. gave me a shot of cortizone to help "calm things down" in there. It doesn't feel much different. I have to go to PT 3 times a week for 6 weeks. I'm hoping that I can get rid of this frozen shoulder so the SLAP can be repaired, but she says it will probably be about 3 months away. Has anyone had a similar experience?
