3rd visit with the Surgeon...

Just had me third appointment with the Orthopedic Surgeon (2 months since my last visit) on March 3, 2008.  He asked if the shoulder was better and I told him no, it is worse than before the cortisone shot.  He asked if I wanted him to do surgery on it...

I told not really but it appeared that that is where we are heading...  He agreed and performed the standard tests again...  He wrote up the surgical order listing slap tear &/or tendosis as the reason for surgery.  He advised it would be Arthroscopic surgery unless he had to fix the tendon in which case it would end up as a mini open procedure.

As I am a Canadian WCB patient at a private surgical clinic, their contract states that the surgery must be performed within 15 working days.  The Surgeon's two schedule dates are full this month so... I am waiting for the clinic to schedule a third day for him.  They have tentatively penciled me in for March 14.

Here's looking to a quick surgery and fast recovery....
