Did NOT have the IS block, anesthesiologist was awesome, glad I didn’t have it, didn’t feel that excruciating pain till anesthesia wore off, but very tolerable compared to anxiety about the block. Now painful deep in shoulder, started to feel suture pain today. Going back & forth between percs and daludin, finally seem to have enough built up in system today. Two good chunks of sleep propped up on lots of pillows last night. Kept ice cuff on 24/7 – love it. Did not get cpm after all. Huge surgical dressing, not looking forward to peeling off tomorrow but excited for a shower. how are those 1st pendulum swings post op?

So your prob around a week post op now, how are you progressing? I was instructed not to do pendulum swings so can't answer that one. I'm three months post op and shoulder feels great. It gets a little achy after strengthening exercises so I ice it. Hopefully your off pain meds by now, they stop me up and that's worse than the pain in the sholder.

I'm three and a half weeks post op from revision of a failed biceps tenodesis, and it feels really good which is bad because it makes me think I can't do things I shouldn't. One day at a time. Hope your healing well and keep us up to date on your progress.
