Just came across this board today. I am in need of some urgent advise. Please... I am having rotator cuff surgery for retracted tendon in 7 days. They say my doctor is very good,..even doing shoulder surgery on other doctors...however...I have now learned that I will be in a sling for 6 weeks until he will THEN be sending me for physical therapy. I am concerned about a frozen shoulder. Spoke to his nurse, who has also had surgery by him on a few occassions and said that yes, i probably will get a frozen shoulder, but he does not prescribe pt prior to the 6 week mark due to the anchors that will be inserted.
