I had a Bankart Repair (put my labrum back together), Capsulorrhaphy (they tightened the shoulder joint), and Remplissage Technique (they anchored my infraspinatus tendon to help stop future instability or dislocations) on 8-22-11...

This is me rambling on about it...

Today is 3 weeks post op... I'm about over this sling, no sleep, not much movement stuff...

After years of constant exercise this non activity is starting to take it's toll on me

hey fellow august surgery-er...cool idea vlogging your recovery. (im doing a boring, written blog). i hear you on the lack of exercise driving you crazy -- i have been out of commission for half a year and it's driving me crazy. maybe you can get on a recumbent bike soon?

I was starting to think exercise bike! I don't think that'd be a problem at all at this point! I just haven't had time, been working late then going to our gym to help out as opposed to work out myself :/

It's been a boring few weeks and the Round 3 and on footage will probably show it up until I can start doing some more stuff with the shoulder...



Round 2:

PT and physicians assistant are happy with my progress so far and yesterday I was deemed able to stop wearing the sling! things are going slow, but I am happy with slow and steady progress. Can't wait to see what you can do with your shoulder in a month or two
