Any tips on bursitis? I'm 5.5 months post surgery and this bursitis is awful. At least that's what I think it is; I meet with my OS in 11 days.

I'm four months out from labral tear surgery. I've watched the videos week to week and found the whole video journey inspiring enough to make my first comment ever in a forum. I only wish the videos hadn't tapered off so much after 3 1/2 months and want to encourage you to not forget your 9 month update which I am awaiting. I'm older and have progressed a bit slower, but more or less I have gone through everything pretty much like the videos. Except that within the past two weeks I have a tendon (rotator cuff)that pops or snaps a bit and seems irritated. It prevents me from working out as hard as I might like or feel I would be capable of because I can't tell if it is something I am aggravating. Maybe it'll just pass in time. Any thoughts on that?

This new job is killing my internet time
I just received an email with the last reply and finally had a chance to get on here...

Rev, I'm hoping to do a few small exercises soon to show what I do to warm up the shoulders. While I was injured these past few years it was one thing I added to my strengthening that I felt helped the shoulder prepare during other workouts....

Jamieb, my only thoughts on bursitis would have been to ice and rest, I really hope your Doc solved that issue for you and it wasn't something more serious??

Woody, in my (now 10month vid I finally recorded) I explain how I don't think my issue was as serious as yours... I did some scapula exercises that you came across but mainly rest helped me there! My girlfriend says it looks like my shoulder blades are moving in sync so I took her word for it
Did your issue get better?? I can prob check the forum and see....

Magic, sorry about the delay, busy schedules have made me neglect updated and I feel terrible for it...

Bopper, thank you for the kind words! Friends that think my shoulder vids or talks are silly get trumped when someone says the vids do anything positive for them!!
I'm not sure on the tendon thing and I hope you find a straight answer from docs or pt?
I have slight catches or pops that I'm hoping are just part of the game... so far any pain seems to be soreness, but if anything ever happens to where there's a weird feeling and a burst of pain I plan on getting it checked instantly, as you should!

I need to edit my video together and then add something I forgot and I hope to do so in the next few days!

Thank you to everyone who has followed me thru this, helped me, and gave thoughts!!
