So I have been mountain biking for the past 3 months very consistenly (up to 60 miles/week) which I was told by my ortho doc and LBS that it's too much. Anyways, I am still having pain in my left shoulder (I was dx'd with rotator cuff tendonitis by ortho doc with x-ray but no MRI). Pain gets worse depending no how I use my arm/shoulder but almost always worse at night.
I was in PT for the past 2 weeks for 3 days/week but I stopped that and now rehab on my own at the gym. Some stretching and strengthening exercises basically.
How long does this take to rehab approximately? Is it ok to bike in the meantime? I was doing some biking recently as well as running/hiking. thx.
