While there is no way to strengthen or "build up" a torn piece of labral cartilage, if it is the most minor of tears of just a worn "lesion", there are ways to take a little pressure off of them that involve "beefing up" the rotator cuff muscle fibers and stibilizing surrounding muscle groups and the body's core muscles... also, you can use Prolotherapy to increase the tensile size and strength of the shoulders tendons and ligaments to restabilize the shoulder capsule itself. If yoiu think about it, the ONE thing we all have in common here is we ALL have unstable shoulder capsules that allowed our labrum's to tear at some point. You can restabilize the areas, but if there tear is already there, the damage has been done. BUT, Prolo can help slow or stop the damage that has already occurred.
