went in complaining and concerned about how I'm feeling.
Did an xray, which obviously showed nothing.
Gave me a cortisone shot..will do a joint lubricant one next week. will decide then whether or not to do another MRI to see if there is any nerve issues going on...my bicep is what is really bothering me. Said could be scar tissue causing the pain in the top of my shoulder.
was given another pain med to try (have a hard time with them) and also some drops to rub into the area. and showed me whch exercises to really work on.

Go back end of next week.
      so basically..another "bandaid"

what all did you have done again? My bicep area bothered me terribly for a long time, but that eventually did go away.

I had a slap repair and rotator cuff. One anchor in each.

I hope time helps heal. It could be scarring and adhesions - that will not necessarily show up on any imaging tests - did not in my case. I ended up with the tenodesis because the scarring was so bad - the tendon was OK. If you can find a good therapist or massage person with experience in shoulder rehab, that is the route that might be worth a try.

I posted excerpts from that one editorial where the specialist admitted that surgeons really don't know sometimes. Doing a scope sounds like a good idea, but the price is very high. I do wish surgeons would be more honest about that.
