Had surgery 1/24/12. SLAP TEAR type 2 had two anchors., Started PT on 2/24/12. It has been a slow go- was very stiff going into PT. Was making some progress and then previous elbow and wrist surgery ( from 15 years ago) started to act up- now wearing a splint at night and when exercising. That didn't slow PT down that much, but I have been in a fair amount of pain trying to get to full range of motion- PT person is excellent and is walking the fine line between the stretch and pain. Saw the doctor on Monday and he said he thinks the rotator cuff is irritated and suggested a shot- too which I agreed. Said slow down on PT for a few days, which we have. Shoulder felt ok for about a day, like it had loosen up a little bit and now it feels tight again. He wants to see me in two weeks. Said we will talk about the options then if it has not improved. Any advice or thoughts? Thanks
