Sleep problems go with the territory. Just another hurdle to overcome. I can't believe I am going into my 4th year of this.

you should start to see some improvement over the next couple weeks with sleeping...try doing some pendulums before you go to sleep and ice/heat it before bed, that's my routine before bed every night. I usually end up having to do pendulums about twice a night because I wake up so stiff.

I can't believe at the end of this month it will be 9 years since my first surgery, I was 18 years old...now I'm 27 and my shoulder has aged considerably since then lol

do you think it's true that the older you are the more time it takes to heal?

Yes, but I am "biologically young" for my age. I just love that statement - hahaha - makes all this agony worthwhile to have a doc say that!

Courtesy of ambien and being out of the sling, I am sleeping better. Plus I think doing the PT and the healing process just wipes me out. I realized last night that I had rolled over on my stomach so that makes 3 sleeping positions rather than 2. But I think it will be awhile before I'm on the right side.
