I've had some flu variation for a month now and I'm probably headed back to a shoulder doc early in the year following a "wrestling accident" with my three year old. I can just see how that conversation is going to go.
"How did you hurt your shoulder?"
"Well, my three year old..."
"Your three year old??"
"Yes, he's amazingly strong..."
Andy...two years ago I had a tenodesis in my ankle. I tore two tendons kicking a soccer ball to my dog in the back yard. I desperately tried to think of a more exciting story, but there wasn't one. The OS asked "did the dog block the ball" NO. "Did you twist your ankle?" NO "Did you kick the ground?" NO...basically, I kicked the ball to my dog and felt my ankle snap. Two tendons shredded. I was in a cast for 6 weeks, no walking and no driving. I still wish I could have thought of a better accident...but there wasn't one!
